A growing FMCG manufacturing company are looking for a electrically bias Engineering Team Leader. You will be will be responsible for ensuring that the Electrical Engineering team deliver support on electrical and PLC engineering technical excellence infault diagnosis and maintenance. A strong electrically bias Engineer with leadership experience within fast paced manufacturing environment and knowledge of PLC's, HMI's and electrical maintenance.

As a Engineering Team Leader your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
- Lead the Electrical Engineering team in projects, repairs, planned maintenance and continual improvement initiatives.
- Discuss, plan and oversee planned modification to production equipment regarding electrical wiring and PLC program modifications.
- Develop, implement and maintain the plan for maintenance and control of PLC systems on all assets on site.
- Maintain plant and equipment to high operational standards.
- Provide support to Continuous Improvement Team and assist in process improvement activities.
- Be involved with automation projects throughout the facility, linking existing machinery and plant.
- Carry out Electrical Maintenance - both planned, preventative work and unscheduled, urgent electrical maintenance work.
- Support and manage the electrical aspect of several installations at any time.
- Rapid response to breakdowns on production equipment to minimise equipment failure downtime.
- Identify and follow up on Continuous Improvement of machinery, investigating the root cause, reliability issues and wastages.
- Assist shift Maintenance Engineers with breakdown and planned maintenance activities across the facility using corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Suggest any training requirements for the electrical engineering team
- Shift cover for maintenance, holidays, sickness etc. may result in the need to be flexible with shift patterns.

- Apprentice trained Electrically bias Engineer.
- Previous leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Automation, PLC's, HMI and electrical maintenance.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Positive thinking and self-motivated individual with good communication skills.
