FM Conway are searching for an enthusiastic **Trainee Operative** to join us at our **Newhaven Asphalt Plant. **Working a mixture of day and night shifts, you will join us on a permanent basis.

As our **Trainee Operative **you will need to operate the plant and associated equipment to facilitate production of materials for our customer’s needs.

**Responsibilities of our Trainee Operative**
- Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner that complies with FMC procedures
- Loading of material onto vehicles
- Undertaking all loading shovel operations as required
- Operating all weighbridge functions as required
- Following site Health & Safety procedures
- Contributing to overall well-being and profitability of the site and the business

**What we’re looking for in our Trainee Operative**

To be considered for this role It is essential that you are a team player, with good communications skills and a full UK driving license. You will be flexible, computer literate and health and safety conscious. Full training will be given.
