Fabric Cutter

Due to high demand for our cushions since lock-down has ended, Caldeira is looking to hire an experienced fabric cutter on a permanent basis.

The cutter will use an Eastman style cutter and will need to have experience on a laying up table to cut large lays of square and rectangular cushions in a fast-paced factory.

Some panel and remnant cutting with scissors is also needed occasionally.

Cutting experience in a têxtile factory is preferred and specific on the job training will be given where necessary.

Full-time hours: 40 per week: Mon - Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3.30pm

Overtime is available

Caldeira has passed several audits from high street retailers to ensure that systems are in place to reduce the risk of Co-Vid19 transmission.

During the pandemic, the company made non-surgical PPE gowns to help and support the NHS and front-line workers.
