**Job: Physiologist**

**Location: Roodlane, Central London**

**Contract: Permanent & full-time - 37.5 hours/week 8.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday**

**Salary - £25,000-£27,000 depending on experience and skills**

**About the role**:
A physiologist will work in co-operation with the Roodlane Medical team including Doctors, Nurses, Medical Technicians, Physiologists will be part of a team that provides timely, efficient, high quality care, equitable, professional, conducting medicals to our patients across London (Zone 1 and Zone 2).

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conducting all health screening tests which include spirometry, audiometry, pulse wave velocity, body composition, vision acuity and other specialised medicals
- Lead an unsupervised electrocardiogram test (resting and exercise) for medical assessment and/or in emergency
- Attend annual Immediate Life Support (ILS) course and other training sessions as required to maintain job role.
- Upload results in support of creating medical reports
- Leading health screening promotional days externally for corporate clients.
- Calibrate all diagnostic testing equipment on a daily, conduct clinical audits and sustain high clinical standards
- To interpret and coach clinical data to patients when required
- Committed to high standards of patient care
- Ensuring daily services at all sites are run efficiently to help deliver quality care for patients.
- Providing leadership, support and guidance to staff and allocating duties or tasks
- Orchestrating meetings, performing appraisals, facilitating in staff Professional Development Plans within the department ensuring mandatory and statutory training is up to date

**Knowledge and Understanding;**
- Experience within a healthcare setting
- Ability to provide good quality care
- Care certificate (or working towards)
- Awareness of the need to focus on continuous quality improvement
