Kitchen Porter

The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in the overall success of making The Bull Inn a fantastic public house. This position is essential for supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring the efficient flow of dishes and utensils.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Taking responsibility for your given tasks as well as supporting the team around you, every service
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are always of the highest quality
- Setting up, running and closing down the kitchen following:

- Preparation processes
- Food safety and storage procedures
- Ensuring that the kitchen is kept immaculate at any given time
- Responsible for the cleaning and storing of all cutlery, crockery, cookware and equipment, before, during and after service
- Ensuring that pot wash area and equipment are maintained to standard at all times
- Regularly deep cleaning kitchen, cooking equipment (ovens and grills) and fridges

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Experience of working as a KP is preferable but NOT essential
- Happy and wanting to work hard in demanding yet rewarding work amongst an experience and passionate team
- Does well and taking instructions and caring out work as has been requested

£10.5 - £12 per hr depending on experience
