Sen Ta

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN TA to join our team at an unnamed school in Hoddesdon. In this role, you will work closely with our SEN students to provide individualised support and assistance in a variety of academic and social settings.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Providing one-on-one and small group support to SEN students in the classroom, helping them to access and engage with the curriculum.
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans for SEN students, ensuring that they receive the support they need to succeed.
- Monitoring student progress and behaviour, and providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
- Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care for SEN students as needed.
- Building positive relationships with SEN students and their families, and serving as a positive role model and mentor.
- Experience working with SEN students in a school or other educational setting.
- A compassionate and patient demeanour, with the ability to build positive relationships with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing student needs and adjust support strategies as necessary.
