We have a great opportunity to join the core Maintenance Team as a Contracts Officer (Building Fabric).

This is a role with excellent customer service at its heart; requiring that all stakeholders are communicated with appropriately and given information and notice of activities that affect them.

Working within a busy multi skilled construction team, under the direction of a Building Fabric Manager, you will be managing and reviewing a suite of service contracts to provide all aspects of construction services for the Estates Team at University of Warwick. Knowledge of contract writing, and review is key to this role, as is proven technical experience of contractor management in a construction environment.

You will have excellent budgetary management skills and a track record of delivering responsive repairs and small projects across a complex estate for a diverse range of clients. You will be able assess and ensure safe delivery of works and drive contract performance through agreed KPIs.

The Estates Team is responsible for the planning and management of a diverse portfolio of buildings and the wider built environment. Our Estate is large and varied and includes state of the art science labs, an advanced medical school and Warwick Arts Centre. There are two main campuses in Stoneleigh and Wellesbourne as well as properties in London and Venice.
