**LITE Fellowship (Mitigating Circumstances)**:
**This role is available to current employees within the University of Leeds only.**

**Salary: 0.2 FTE for 24 months or 0.4 FTE for 12 months secondment at current grade (flexible working arrangements will be considered)**

This Fellowship will provide the underpinnings for development of support and training/learning provision for students undertaking and succeeding in their assessments. One element of the institutional Assessment Strategy is to improve the experience of assessment, including an aim to reduce the need for mitigating circumstances. It is therefore essential that we understand the contributing factors to a growth in this area, through analysis of trends, behaviours, provision and experiences. This project will take the form of discovery with options appraisal, contributing towards the future of how we approach additional consideration in assessment (mitigating circumstances) at Leeds.

As well as carrying out your project, you will be expected to contribute to LITE’s scholarly community, provide content towards the digital and external-facing profiles, and act as an ambassador at internal and external events. You will evaluate and disseminate the impact of your project internally through research progress showcases and externally to develop the practice, pedagogy and reputation of student education at the University.
