Our Client is a leading provider of highways maintenance services across Scotland. They manage and main
- tain over 2000km of Scotland’s trunk road network, tackling just about every imaginable task and working round the clock to help keep Scotland moving.

Roles required in: Eyemouth (new depot opening)

Preferably you should be an experienced road worker with the necessary skills to carry out various road maintenance operations, training can be provided if necessary. You should be prepared to participate in our winter and emergency response service on a standby rota basis.

**Responsibilities and Activities**
- The erection and removal of temporary signs and barriers (permanent signs and barriers).
- Hot material patching by hand.
- Drainage works, excavation, pipe laying, kerb laying, scrub cutting.
- Installation and fixing of temporary/permanent road furniture.
- Driving vehicles including those with simple attachments such as tractors.
- Following health and safety procedures.
- Winter maintenance.
- Grass cutting
- Any other duties as required.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- There is a requirement to undertake training.
- Experience of using small plant.
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- HGV2 licence and Traffic Management 12AB/D experience advantageous but not essential.

**Salary: £22,568 - £28,288 (depending on experience), plus overtime opportunities are available**

**which include summer and winter standby.**

**Plus: £100 Weekly standby allowance paid (whilst on standby)**
