As a private utility company, we are responsible for the public wastewater collection, treatment and supply across the South of England from West Sussex to Kent.

Due to growth and a multimillion-pound transformation programme, we are looking for an IT Automation and Integration Lead to be part of the implementation of their brand-new software designed data centres. You will be very hands on as well as supportingthe growing team of blended experts as services migrate to the Data Centres undertaking delivery of new capabilities.

You will manage the centre of excellence and know what good looks like

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide clear direction and support for IT solutions that enhance and protect mission and business critical operations, leveraging the investment made in the Data Centres, through centralisation, consolidation, integration, and automation
- Accountable for 3rd line support of all Services supported by the Team, aligned with the Data Centre Services (SDDC) 24 x 7, including request fulfilment, project demand and resource management within agreed Operational and Service Level Agreements
- Responsible for the quality, availability, and resilience of the companies Data Centres, working with colleagues across the wider IT & Data Department to deliver a 24 x 7 support service.
- Develop and maintain the IT Automation and Integration services strategy and roadmap

**What you look like**:

- Experience of virtualised infrastructure (software define data centres)
- Knowledge and experience of automation, networks and telephony, security operations and cloud platform experience.
- Ability to manage high performing teams using industry leading infrastructure suppliers like Dell and network technologies such as Cisco.
- Experience of identifying, owning, and driving appropriate technical solution and organisation design
- Strategic thinker working efficiently with the ability to adapt in changing environments with a passion to make a difference
