We have an exciting opening and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to work within the Finance team at Southampton City Council.

The role is a part-time permanent role working 30 hours per week within a small team which is responsible for making payments on behalf of Southampton City Council to our many suppliers, providers etc and looking after vulnerable client's money.

As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be passionate about your work, bringing a variety of skills to the role, pride yourself in attention to detail and being able to investigate and resolve queries in a timely manner.

We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our accounts payable team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts payable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

You will also have good written and verbal communication skills and be confident in using a computer.
