SF have been retained to support a growing services business based in the West Midlands.

Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic and forward thinking Cash Manager, to oversee and have accountability for the the Cash Collection from customers, Credit Management, and operational Cashflow Forecasting. The role will oversee a team of 25+.

The role has a key cross functional influencing element, firstly ensuring that upstream interference to their cash collection is minimised and removed through process improvement, and secondly in developing a close connection to MDs and key account managers such that the context and robustness of cash forecasts is improved.

**Your new role**
- The role and its associated teams will own:

- The cash collection process including customer contact, account manager liaison, dunning and reporting of the ledgers, cash allocation and collections.
- Credit Management, (including new customer and existing customer risk management), and proactive involvement in Credit and bad debt provisioning.
- Query resolution for debt related disputes, including liaison with the billing, renewals and order management teams as required to enable debt collection.
- Robust cash reporting (actuals and forecast), including close working with treasury, FP&A and the CFO in order to meet their needs.
- Ongoing process improvement (CI) agenda and its stakeholder Management.
- Audit support.

**What you'll need**:

- 10+ years experience in Managing a busy credit/collections team
- Qualified accountant or fully qualified Credit Management professional (CICM)
- Experience in leading teams in a Shared Service Centre environment is desirable
- Experience of Salesforce CPQ and Credit Management modules is highly desirable, as are strong Excel and BI skills
- Experience in reporting to board and shareholders
