Overview:
We are seeking a number Learning Support Assistants to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals with autism and learning disabilities within establishments within the London Borough of Enfield. The role involves supporting children and adults with special needs in their daily activities and educational programmes.

**Duties**:

- Communicate effectively with individuals with autism and their families
- Provide care and support for children and young people with autism & learning disabilities
- Assist in implementing educational programmes tailored to the needs of each individual
- Work closely with special education teachers to support learning goals
- Help individuals develop essential life skills and independence

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism
- Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of special education practices and techniques
- Ability to educate and support individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

Pay: £85.37-£100.00 per day

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
