**£22,737 - £23,114 per annum dependant on experience**

**Permanent all-year-round position**

**37 hours per week Monday - Friday**

Frome College are looking to appoint a Gardener / Grounds Person to maintain the School Grounds. The college grounds feature garden areas, sport pitches, lawns and sweeping borders with differing planting schemes. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8:30am - 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

**Working as part of a small team, your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Digging over borders
- Watering plants
- Weeding
- Preparing flower beds for planting
- Planting up flower beds, pot, and bedding plants
- Propagation
- Edging grass areas and paving
- Cutting hedging
- Pruning small trees
- Preparation of events ie Open Days, Parents Evenings
