**Finance Assistant - Billing/Accounts Receivable Team**

**Salary - Circa £30,000 p/a**

**Full time 37.5 hours (Hybrid working 2 days in the office)**

**The role**

As part of the Billing/Accounts Receivable team you will have shared responsibility for the billing of multiple revenue streams - all with different pricing structures - so you'll need a commercial focus, the ability to adapt quickly to changes within thebusiness and be very well organised.

**A typical week as a Finance Assistant in the Billing Team might involve**
- Executing the billing process for a number of revenue streams
- Accurate reporting, analysis of revenue and production of KPIs within tight deadlines
- Assisting the team with the maintenance of customer pricing in the billing system, ensuring contracts agree with current pricing structures and offers and investigating any discrepancies
- Raising credit notes including the calculation of credit note values and reporting to the business on the monthly credit note position
- Working closely with the Commercial Revenue Finance team to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of price reviews, new product launches and other ad hoc projects

**We're looking for someone who**
- AAT qualified and/or CIMA part qualified
- Has a strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, takes ownership of their own workload and is an open and honest team player - whilst willing to 'muck in' to ensure success of the team as a whole
- Is numerate with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Has excellent Excel skills.
- Ideally has some knowledge of NetSuite but training will be given on our accounting system
- Has a professional and organised approach and is able to do an initial self-review of their own work
- Is not afraid to ask questions and utilise the experience of those around them
- Is able to prioritise and deliver results to strict monthly deadlines
- Has excellent problem solving skills with the ability to communicate the results clearly and confidently
- Has a willingness to adapt to the constantly changing needs of the team and the business as a whole
- Has a proactive approach to managing a busy workload
