We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for our TFM Offices based at

NPL Hillhouse, Thornton Cleveleys. This is a fast paced role which involves working with both sales and purchase ledgers. The position is part-time Monday to Friday.

Proficient in using both Excel and Sage 50 Accounts Package.

Key tasks will involve:

- Raise invoices to companies on site monthly including water, electricity, fuel, rentals.
- Produce creditor/debtor analysis summary for management.
- Monitor and order fuel requirements for site via Triscan Fuel App.
- Maintain accounts inbox responding in an accurate/timely manner.
- Adhoc variance analysis on the ledgers as arises from Head Office in Glasgow.
- Prepare purchase invoices for Head Office and allocate correct nominal codes.

Skills required for the role:

- Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts Package, Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Good organisation skills.
- Ability to deal with high volumes of invoices - especially at beginning and end of month.
- Strong communication skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £13,000.00-£16,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Thornton Cleveleys, FY5 4QD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
