**Internal sales Engineer**

CDS Recruitment and Training Ltd have a fantastic client that are recruiting for an**Internal Sales Engineer.** Our client is family owned with a global coverage and specializes in the protection of people and buildings from explosion, fires andpressure-related hazards.

The role is to provide**technical sales** and **engineering support** on pressure relief &/or passive explosion protection products. protecting people and property from explosions,.

Office based - Maidstone office. Will be options of working from home once trained.

Salary around £30k - £33k.

**Outline of Job Description**
Adhere to the client SHEQ & regulatory regimes.
Administration of given sales accounts, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Provide technical sales and support to solve customer requirements.
Provide technical support to customers to assist in solving their particular requirements.
Liaise with factory engineering department to facilitate these requirements.
Monitor progression of accounts and report to Commercial Manager on a regular basis.
Mainly reactive but customers to be contacted on a regular basis for general service and update of situation.
Provide backup to Business Development Engineers when required, for preparing quotations etc.
Provide general assistance to other staff and Commercial Manager as and when required.
Maintain the confidentiality of all information processed.

**Helpful experience**
Previously worked in a B2B sales environment, preferably in a mechanical or industrial engineering industry
Handled customer accounts, ideally looking after technical or engineered products.

**Qualifications**
Proficient in MS Office software - Word, Excel, Access & Outlook.
Highly proficient written & verbal communication skills.

**Other Benefits**
37.5 hours per week; 8.45am - 5.15pm; with an hour for lunch.
Work 100% in the Maidstone office until able to work autonomously, thereafter flexible with 3 days in & 2 at home as the typical split.
23 days holiday ( bank holidays) to start.
2 x gross basic salary life insurance. Non-contributory.
8% pension payment, non-contributory - starts once the probation period is over. Can be topped up by salary if wanted client will add our 13.8% employers NI contribution to any salary sacrificed if they do.
BUPA cashback healthcare, non-contributory but can top up personally for self & family if they want.
Salary sacrifice schemes available.
This role is an immediate requirement - so will be interviewing as soon as possible
