**Software Engineer (Python/React) - MySQL,Microservice, AWS**
Our rapidly growing ecommerce client is seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and technically astute Software Engineer with 2-3 years commercial experience and strong skills in Python and React.
As Software Engineer (Python/React) you will work closely with other Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Product Architects and Product Owners as part of an Agile Product team to drive platforms forward, exploring new technologies and approaches to existingchallenges.
**Technical skills required**:
- Good knowledge of React and Python
- Working in an Agile environment
- Experience working with Microservice principles
- Awareness of Continuous Integration / Unit Testing / BDD / TDD
- Good MySQL experience
- Familiar with API principles (REST, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of and/or experience with AWS Services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
**Other duties will include**:
- Designing and developing platform improvements in line with the business vision and technical strategy.
- Analyse and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of products and services.
- Contribute to building a culture of support, creativity and learning within your Agile product team and the wider Development department.
- Adhere to best practice principles for development, including source control, build, testing and deployment.
- Being responsible for information security and data protection, and supporting the business in complying with any legal obligations imposed upon it through positive actions
**Technical knowledge**:
Python, React, Microservices, MySQL, Agile, AWS, BDD/TDD, API
This is a permanent position hybrid position (Kent) and is paying a salary £35,000 - £45,000 + great benefits
