**Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) **has an exciting opportunity available for an **Employee Relations Advisor **to join our team in **Maidstone. **You will join us on a **full-time, permanent basis, **and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£38,598 - £44,083 per annum.**

**About the role**:
As an **Employee Relations Advisor**, you will be a confident provider of advice and guidance to managers and colleagues regarding HR policies, procedures, employment law, disciplinaries, and grievance processes.

**As our Employee Relations Advisor, you will be responsible for**:

- Acting as first point of contact for all managers to advise on employee relations cases. Supporting managers with expert and practical advice on how to manage employee relations cases
- Supporting and coaching managers, including support at hearings and investigations
- Supporting HR Relations Manager by looking for new ways of delivering employee relations support
- Actively promoting employee engagement and health and wellbeing agendas
- Support managers to identify and implement reasonable or wellbeing adjustments in the workplace
- Splitting your time between office and sites across the KFRS estate

**What we’re looking for in our** **Employee Relations Advisor**:

- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage a wide range of tasks daily and prioritise tasks based on their urgency
- Experience of assessing issues and determining the best course of action to resolve disputes and maintain a positive working environment
- Able to analyse data, identify trends and make decisions based on evidence presented
- The ability to be flexible, and un-phased by rapidly changing situations
- Excellent people skills and attention to detail
- CIPD qualified or equivalent level of experience
