**The role**:
**An exciting opportunity has come up to work supporting learners in a new way.**
- Part-Time (15 hours per week)
- Fixed Term until 30th June 2024
- £9317 - £10142 per annum
- Gorseinon Campus

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proactively work with learners and College staff (tutors and support services) to improve attendance, retention, attainment and address general behavioural issues.
- To work with the learner and the college staff to identify the appropriate intervention strategy needed to assist the learner to make appropriate progress.
- To maintain accurate, timely and updated entries of progress/intervention strategies on the student information database

**About you**:

- Experience of providing broad pastoral care with 14-19 year olds in an education setting.
- Ability to motivate, relate to and enthuse young people.
- Effective written communication.
