Suffolk Mind’s mission is to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health, and to assist with this we are looking to recruit a Fundraising Officer for our Children, Families and Young People service.
This role will be responsible for managing and developing the fundraising and donations into the CFYP income pot, including organising and managing key fundraising events. It also involves engaging with the community to increase awareness of fundraising and donation opportunities.
**Some key requirements for this role**:
- Knowledge and experience of working in a fundraising role within the voluntary or charity sector and/or within an education setting
- Willingness to travel within Suffolk regularly and work flexibly and as required, outside normal office hours (Driving licence is essential)
- Excellent written and oral skills (including presenting and giving talks)
- Excellent planning and time management skills for self and others.
