**HGV Driver - Glasgow Depot**

We provide a wide range of plant and equipment hire solutions to the construction, civil engineering and industrial sectors. Our Head office is in Grangemouth, with depots across Scotland and Manchester. We operate through 6 divisions incorporating Plant, Handling, Access, Accommodation, Power and Commercial Vehicles. **What part will you play in our team?**

Reporting to the Transport Manager and working from our Glasgow Depot, you will play an essential role towards the success of the depot. You will be expected to drive various HGV vehicles to deliver and collect plant and accommodation to and from customers.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Supervising the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and correct against the customers’ orders.
- Ensure that the arrival and delivery of the goods is safe and respect the customer’s property.
- Check goods off with customer and obtain a time and signature on a delivery form.
- Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law.
- Report damages, safety issues, accidents, or any other significant problems to the Group Transport Manager.

**Am I there person for the job?**
- You will have your HGV Cat C+E Licence (Class 1 advantageous)
- Previous experience in transporting of plant hire fleet and accommodation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible approach to work
- Good time management
- Safety conscious
- Good geographical knowledge of Scotland
