We are currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor for our client based near Welshpool. Our client is a leading engineering company in their industry with a commitment to innovation and quality.

The Workshop Supervisor will play a key role in leading and supervising production staff to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop. This role involves overseeing the manufacturing process, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The starting rate for this position is between £35,000 to £45,000 per year, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead production staff to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure that materials and parts are readily available for each member of the production team.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process and ensure final quality control is complete.
- Work on production lines when required to support the team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental policies at all times.
- Liaise with managers and other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in the workshop.
- Provide training and instruction to workshop personnel on equipment and machinery operation.
- Plan maintenance schedules and activities to minimize downtime.
- Report workplace incidents and safety breaches to management.
