Traditionally using a Pallet Network partner or Fedex for customer deliveries, we have taken the decision to introduce our own delivery service in the local area (circa 75 mile radius of Walford Cross) and therefore ordered our first vehicle which is an Ford Electric Transit.

The decision was based on 2 core principles:
1. Our ongoing commitment to be socially responsible, so utilising an electric van is expected to remove circa 128,312 kg of Co2

2. Improved service to these customers through a more personalised service and the reduction in minimum order value to £150

Considering the above objectives we are seeking to find a Driver who will help build and deliver our local distribution.

**Core Responsibility**
- Completing daily vehicle checks & reporting any issues to the Warehouse Manager
- Loading orders into the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made
- Delivering products in great condition
- Safely operating a vehicle in most weather conditions
- Interacting with the Customers in a friendly & professional manner
- Unloading orders at the destination & getting customers to sign the necessary paperwork
- Updating routes, mileage & delivery logs
- Assist with warehouse duties when not driving, this will consist of picking, checking orders, putting stock away, adhering to strict processes for each task
- Any other reasonable duties requested to be performed by Management team

**Qualities**
- Must be 25 years or over
- Ability to lift and carry heavy food orders and operate a vehicle for prolonged periods of time
- Hold a Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Previous Experience preferred but not essential
- Hard working & reliable with a good work ethic
- Customer focused and high a level of attention to detail
- Able to work as part of the team

**Details**

1. Monday to Friday - 37.5 hour week

2. 30 minute lunch (Paid) and 2 x 15 minute breaks (Not Paid)

3. Salary - Currently £20,582 per annum paid monthly, moving to £22,000 per annum from April 2023

**Salary**: £20,582.00 per year
