Cafe Supervisor

**Experienced Cafe Supervisor required ( Full Time)**

Ahimsa The Vegan Cafe has been open since December 2016 with the aim of providing delicious, healthy and great value vegan food to the general public with exceptional customer service. We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated full time Café Supervisor to join our professional and friendly team in a busy and vibrant working environment. The Supervisor will look after all aspects of running the café and deputise for the café manager.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing staff to ensure all café duties are completed effectively and efficiently
- Ensuring that food and drink is of a consistently high standard
- Serving customers and ensuring that customers are served with care in a prompt and friendly manner
- Ensure that resources are used as effectively and efficiently as possible
- Stock check and ordering food and consumables
- Ensuring that staff comply with all Health, Safety & Food Hygiene regulations
- Assist manager with staff rotas when required
- Training new staff
- Opening and closing the café
- Opening /Closing the till
- Prepping salads, making juices, smoothies, teas and coffee, frying chips and falafels
- Any other duties commensurate with the role including assisting in the kitchen

**Job Requirements**:Previous experience in a hospitality/catering environment**
- Barista experience (desirable)
- Late evening and weekend availability
- Great customer service skills
- Friendly and welcoming disposition
- Motivated with good communication skills
- Flexible and good team player
- High standards of personal and food hygiene
- Eligibility to work in the UK
