**IT Lead**

**Salary**: £38,000 - £42,000

**Job Type**: Full Time (Permanent)

**The Role**

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join our technology team as IT Lead.

As IT Lead, you will perform a key role, with responsibility for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure as part of a hands-on role. You will be responsible for a small team of IT staff and will be expected to work closely with a number of staff within our technology team to ensure an effortless experience is delivered to the business and our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implementation of IT systems to support business requirements/goals.
- Maintenance of IT systems.
- Supporting the implementation of various projects/technologies.
- Managing network infrastructure.
- Maintaining/implementing IT processes and policies.
- Managing the IT Support team, ensuring effective day-to-day IT operations.
- Providing a point of escalation for major outages/incidents.
- Managing 3rd party provider relationships.

**What we’re looking for**

**Essential**
- 3+ years’ experience in a relevant IT role.
- Experience with Microsoft products (Office 365, Exchange, etc.).
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (Preferably Azure).
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Databases.
- Experience with VOIP telephony systems (Such as Twilio).
- Experience with virtualization software (Such as VMWare).
- Experience configuring/administering Microsoft Azure.
- Experience configuring/administering hybrid infrastructure.
- Experience configuring/administering networks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A strong attention to detail.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

**Desirable (But not essential)**
- Previous experience as an IT Lead or similar.
- Previous experience working in financial services.
- Full UK driving licence.
