Mortgage Administrator

My client are a Building Society in Bath and they seek an administrator to joint heir Mortgage support team, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a friendly, close knit team and where support and training can be given,
In return a competitive salary and benefit package can be offered, plus support to achieve CeMap if not already achieved, plus after initial few weeks training you can work upto 4 days at home.
Job Purpose
To provide efficient and effective administrative support as part of the mortgage operations team. To meet the demands of the department the role will require a ‘right first time’ attitude, a multi-tasker with a confident approach and strong organizationalskills.
Duties
- Basic administration
- Application to offer
- Offer to completion
- Post completion in-life management
- Documenting processes and updating procedure manuals
- Performance of pre-defined controls for part of the Risk Management Framework
- Running and checking pre-defined reports
- Preparation of MI against relevant performance measures such as servicing levels
- Maintaining the mortgage pipeline records
- Actively participate in the Society’s transformation program, both contributing with ideas and helping to adopt and embed changes.
- Contribute to the testing of systems through performance of test plans and reporting results
- Assist with mortgage product building to enable to Society to launch new products and rates
Skills, Knowledge and experience required,
- Full CeMAP Qualification. Or must work towards passing this within 12 months
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Accurate data keying and checking skills
- Good understanding of the Societies lending policy and values
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Working knowledge of Activate, Summit, Microsoft Office, Laserfiche, WorldPay, BACS, & Hunter
