Transport Coordinator

Mitchell Storage & Distribution (MSD) Ltd is a reputable, established and professional well known local family business within Leicestershire for almost 28 years.

We are looking a new member to join our team whom will have a degree of experience within the transport sector already and be efficient with computer based transport systems.

Your role is to help our busy transport office in its administration and coordination between morning shift and afternoon shift structure. You will be right in the middle of that handover and be helping both sides.

We handle circa 1,000 pallets of goods each day through our site 1 depot and there is lots to do. If you like being challenged with logístical elements to resolve, sort and align and no 2 days are ever the same, this is the place for you. Good team ethic is important. Background of transport offices is vital to this role.

A starting salary of £25k during probation while you complete your first 6 month probation and then depending how that first period has gone, we are open to discuss with you further based on your impact and performance.

*Your shift pattern will be 9am - 6pm (45 hours per week)* - starting salary tailored to suit on or circa 25k per year. - based on experience may vary during interview could increase.
