Set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, the Bakewell Old House Museum is a Tudor dwelling. After nearly five hundred years of continuous use, it now plays host to a wide range of artefacts telling the story of the Peak District and beyond.
**Main purpose**
As a Gardening volunteer you will be helping to keep the outdoors tidy for visitors. You may be interested in starting a new flower planter.
**You shall be**
- sweeping the pathways and forecourt
- weeding and leaf picking
- creating planters for around the site
- working with other volunteers to increase interpretation of the plants
**The role would suit someone who**
- is interested in being outdoors, developing that part of the visitor experience
- wants to help an independent charity in Bakewell
