I am recruiting for a Plant fitter working on a permanent basis for a client based in Bury.

**General Description**
To work within the Bury depot and to work as part of a dedicated team carrying out repairs, maintenance and
service of welfare site cabins, vans and various plant equipment including water/fuel browsers, electric and petrol
pumps (diesel and electric).

**What you get in return**
Salary upto £13.50 per hour
Mon - Thu - 07:00am - 3:45pm - Friday - 07:00am - 3:30pm
Permanent Role
39.5 hours per week
Pension

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- To ensure at all times that the statutory duties are complied with
- To work with the Depot Manager and team supervisor to ensure procedures and routines are implemented and monitored.
- To service and repair equipment at the depot as products are returned and/or when required
- Inspect machinery and develop a scope of repairs
- Diagnose and fault find customer and operator complaints
- Provide a high quality repair and maintenance service for all of products.
- Monitoring the quality of your work to minimize error, and any potential hazards.
- Have intermediate understanding of Health and Safety legislation and how to work safely in a depot environment.
- Partake in toolbox talks to increase awareness and instruction of how to work safely
- To ensure paperwork is completed correctly and legibly with signatures, dates and times, and ensuring all plant numbers are recorded and checked and parts used are noted
- To keep liaise with stores to ensure adequate stock of components is kept for servicing/repairs in Fitters bay and ensure parts used are booked to each job.
- To carry out deliveries and collections of equipment to customers when required
- To maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, internal and external customers and suppliers and represent the company in a professional manner
- To portray a positive image of when carrying out your duties
- To comply with company health and safety policy
- Any other reasonable task as requested by your manager or the Directors of the company
