Trainee Estimator opportunity available in the Ipswich area. If you are looking to get into the world of Estimating / Surveying, this is the role for you.

Our Client are an established MEP contractor installing building services to commercial / retail and leisure, this unique opportunity allows both personal growth and opportunity to work a well respected construction subcontractor.

**ROLE**:

- Assisting / Preparing and processing quotations, bids and tenders
- Drafting Supplier and Subcontractor enquiries
- Work with the estimating team to build BOQs.
- Visiting live sites to understand the build process
- Attend meetings on and off site with fellow work colleagues.
- Recordkeeping and filing of information relating to submitted tenders.
- Following up on submitted tenders and quotations.
- Reviewing successful bids and feedback on contracts delivered to improve future tenders.

As a trainee estimator, you will receive comprehensive training and guidance to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to execute these tasks effectively with continued support from the team_._

- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Have a passion for systems
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Computer literate with experience in MS Excel - training provided.
- Willingness to work as part of a team to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment
- Must have own transport as the location is not serviced by public transport
- Any construction or engineering experience is desired
- Educated to GCSE standard
