**Handyman - Fylde, £30,000**

You will be expected to show your enthusiasm to provide excellent general building maintenance and show an eagerness and willingness to assist on all matters for a range of projects.
You will typically have a varied project workload including residential and commercial properties. You will have demonstrable joinery experience and capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:
Carry out a variety of planned and reactive building maintenance tasks, which will be varied in nature and will include general building, joinery, plumbing, tiling, painting, and external works.
Fitting, repair and replacement of ironmongery such as locks, lock cylinders, digital locks, and solenoid locks, restrictors, hinges and other security devices.
Fitting, adjustment, repairs of overhead, transom and floor door closures.
Fire precaution works, including replacement of panic escape ironmongery, fire blankets, fire separation, signage. Upgrading of doors, frames, ducts and voids to meet legislation.
Carry out maintenance in residential properties and commercial properties including Council owned assets.
Undertake general facilities tasks including grounds and site cleaning and keeping areas clean and tidy generally.
Work individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks in line with set programmes.
Manage and prioritise own workload in order to complete repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with timescales agreed with clients and Senior Management Team.
Use relevant IT systems to record all work undertaken and related expenditure.
Adhere to health and safety policy and procedures, identify hazards and undertake work risk assessments as required.
Communicate effectively with building occupiers to minimum inconvenience when planning and undertaking building maintenance.
Carry out other such duties as required or delegated by the Director of Facilities and Compliance.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
