Conference and Banqueting Supervisor

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of conference and banqueting operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of events
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide exceptional guest services
- Plan and organize fundraising events, including securing sponsorships and managing budgets
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring quality service and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with the catering team to create customized menus and ensure high-quality food and beverage service
- Supervise banquet staff, providing training, guidance, and support as needed
- Maintain a strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices in conference and banqueting management

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or event management is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, and restaurant/hotel industry standards
- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite
