Position: IT Sales Apprentice
Location: Stone, Staffordshire
Reporting to: Business Development Director
Hours of Work: 9am to 5:30pm, Monday - Friday

Job Purpose
To support the sales team by starting the sale process, defining correct decisions makers via telephone and providing validated information to the Account Executive Team via our Sales and Marketing technology stack as a vital part of our Sales Operations Process.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Obtain contacts from the Sales Intelligence Platform according to campaign information or request from line Managers or Colleagues.
- Add data to sales outreach technology.
- Call contacts and verbally confirm correct contact for our lines of business.
- Update contact record with key additional intelligence (answers direct line, best time to call, preferred method of contact etc)
- Methodically work through key target accounts ensuring we capture multiple person types for each business.
- Work toward productivity KPI's.
- Work closely with wider sales and marketing team to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- In time and with training, take initial calls further to introduce the company in more detail and book appointments for the sales team.
- When requested to do so, send further information to the contacts about our business.
- Clean data according to GDPR and company policies to ensure data integrity
- Attend sales, technology and partner training courses.
Person Specification:

- Grade C (or equivalent) and above in English, Maths and Science
- An Interest in business
- An interest in technology
- Verbally articulate
- Excellent written skills
- High emotional intelligence
