Deli Manager

We are looking for a Deli Manager to join our clients newly launched High-end Italian Food Company in Central Hitchin, Hertfordshire. If you have a passion for food and enjoy selling this is an excellent opportunity for you to grow with this fast growing and dynamic company, importing from the EU and working with Local UK Food Producers.

**About the role
**As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and execution of Delicatessen and related office administration and your duties will include:

- Maintaining the stock inventory, ordering stock and supplies, stocking and managing the Shop shelves
- Managing the stock database, creation of Invoices, balancing of the Till - training will be given to manage all database and finance systems
- Ensuring the food area is clean & tidy and maintaining Deli equipment
- Follow the high standards/rules of the workplace health and safety policies
- Managing the FOH to ensure customers are happy and well taken care of
- Supporting the Company MD - providing a seamless communication work environment
- Developing Social Media pages and managing the Online Shopping site

**About you
**To be successful for the role of Deli Manager, you must be / have:

- An affinity and passion for food - ideally with an interest in Italian Foods
- Ability to demonstrate kitchen and culinary skills - Serving Barista Coffee, slicing cheeses, meats and preparing orders for Customers - training will be given
- Confident, professional and welcoming personality
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail

**About the hours & rewards
**In the role of Deli Manager, your working hours will be 7.30am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday and there is an excellent salary on offer of £23,000 to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience plus excellent Performance Related Bonuses.
