We are seeking dedicated Autism Support Workers to join our team and provide comprehensive support to individuals with autism. In this role, you will work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum, supporting their daily needs, fostering independence, and promoting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with autism, following personalised care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and skill development.
- Implement behavioural strategies as outlined in individual behaviour support plans.
- Document and report progress, concerns, and achievements to the relevant team members and supervisors.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of those you support.
- Attend training and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in autism support.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.
- Ability to follow care plans and implement behavioural strategies effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the individuals you support.
- A clear criminal background check and references may be required.
