- You must be willing to learn, have motivation and have a kind, patient and caring nature. The position available is fun and rewarding, but also has the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the apprenticeship._
- Duties include:_
- Meeting and greeting parents and children_
- Completing diaries on children’s daily activities_
- Helping with lunch time_
- To participate in the planning and preparing of activities_
- To individually plan and provide activities and resources appropriate to each child’s age, stage of development and individuals needs and interests and also activities that stimulate and support children’s intellectual, physical, social, emotional and language development with due regard to the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)._
- Interacting and playing with children in a fun and educational manner._
- To work with all the children, look after their welfare, discuss their development and deliver a curriculum appropriate to their age, stage and ability._
- Undertake regular record keeping._
- To undertake external training courses and attend other relevant meetings._
- To help provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment, both at my setting and on outings._
- To be aware of the signs and symptoms which indicate the possibility of abuse and to be aware of the current procedure for reporting concerns._
- Listening to, encouraging, enabling, stimulating and ensuring the safe keeping of the children_
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained, hazards are quickly identified and removed, hygiene and cleanliness is upheld._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £4.81-£5.30 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
