SJC Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with an excellent businesses based in Leyland who are looking for a HR Officer on a permanent basis.
The need has become available due to exciting growth plans and investment.
- First point of contact for all line managers and employees concerning HR queries
- Support the business and colleagues in areas such as maternity/paternity, retirement, absences, disciplinaries and other HR topics.
- Liaise with a 3rd party HR consultancy to ensure legal and procedural requirements are actioned as required.
- Manage pre-employment screening including the onboarding of new employees.
- Provide support for employees including employee letters, handling processes for movers, leavers and joiners.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with HR related information and accuracy in filing.
- Manage the annual screening of existing employees.
- Lead and support a range of ad hoc initiatives & projects
- Assist in developing a positive company culture in line with company values.
- Keep up to date with employment legislation.
- Involvement in the recruitment process such as advertising and interviewing.
- Collaborate with the finance team regarding monthly & weekly payrolls.
The hours of the role are Monday - Thursday 8.00 - 16.30 and 8.00 - 15.30 Friday.
