The University of Aberdeen is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Porter Driver within the Estates and Facilities Directorate to assist in the provision of a logistics and mailing service between University buildings across both Kings and Foresterhill Campuses.

Working hours will be based on a core Monday to Friday day shift working pattern, although some flexibility in respect of working hours is expected. Duties will be undertaken at either Kings or Foresterhill Campuses, and will include the delivery, collection and movement of goods, mail, furniture and equipment, and opening and securing of allocated buildings throughout the day.

Applicants must have good written and oral communication skills and should be educated to standard grade level (or equivalent). Applicants must also have held a full driving licence (Category B) for a minimum period of one year.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 2 scale (£21,134 - £21,761 per annum), with placement according to qualifications and experience.
