**Assistant IT Manager**
Hampshire Recruitment Services are delighted to represent a long established global engineering SME who have world renowned products.
With the expansion of their business, they are seeking an Assistant IT Manager who wants to develop & grow to become the IT Manager within the next 3 years.
**Salary**:£35,000 - £40,000
**Location**: Basingstoke
**Full time**: But would consider someone work 3/4 day week
**Benefits**:
40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (They would also consider someone looking for a part time role (32 hours a week).
21 days holiday plus 4 days given to cover the Christmas shutdown
5 times salary life assurance when joining the pension scheme.
Company profit related bonus scheme.
6 month probation period.

**The Role**
This role will cover a mixed variety of tasks covering everything from user PC maintenance to software administration, maintenance and development.
Projects will include administration and development of business systems (MS365,ERP, CRM, DMS).
MS 365 Excel/Word/MS BI skills to extract legacy data for management reporting.
Working with support companies to ensure maintenance of systems, business continuity and maintain minimum downtime.
Have an awareness of business IT security needs and requirements.
Be flexible and able to identify urgent projects and manage own workflow.
**The Person**
**Skills and Experience**
Educated to graduate or equivalent level.
Microsoft 365 apps and admin
MS Visual studio would be advantageous or willingness to learn
Business ERP, CRM and Engineering software
Sage X3 or MS Dynamics experience would be beneficial.
Some programming experience an advantage
Previous experience of systems migration would also be beneficial.
