We are currently seeking an ambitious, driven and self-motivated Ground Care Machinery Apprentice, with outstanding attention to detail, to join our Golf Courses team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £25,301 / annual salary based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £21,801, plus a qualified estimate of £3,500 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Maintaining all machinery to the required standards complying with all manufacturer’s recommendations and Health and Safety legislation
Ensuring all safety clothing, equipment and uniforms issued are worn and comply with legislation and agreed standards.
Testing, diagnosing and repairing an extensive fleet of equipment; ensuring all maintenance procedures performed on machines are completed with efficiency.
Undertaking daily operational duties and requirements, enabling the efficient operation and maintenance of our machinery
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance carried out on all machinery, on time and to the highest standard
Ensuring all of our procedures conform to Health and Safety legislation and our estate policies

During your apprenticeship you will;
Attend 6 x 3-week residential college placements at Oatridge College over 2 years
Create a unique and personalised portfolio of work-based learning leading towards a Land-based Engineering Level 5 qualification

You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
