**Job purpose**:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

**About the employer**:
Our client is a 24-year-old female living in the Guisborough area of Cleveland who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 8 hours per week.

Our client is very independent but due to fatigue, Chronic pain conditions and Anxiety some support is required to carry out daily living tasks.

Our client enjoys crafting and playing games on the Nintendo Switch. Our client also has a dog in the property.

**Main duties**:
**Social duties**
- keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
- support with cooking and following recipes
- support with weekly shopping

**Domestic duties**: Support with grocery shopping, cooking, and serving nutritious meals and snacks & cleaning.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

**Type of person that you/they are looking for**:

- **Values**: someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality & diversity.
- **Specific requirements**: Must be a driver and have access to their own vehicle. Must be comfortable with dogs as there is a dog in the property. Knowledge of vegan food as client is a vegan.

**Hours of work: 8 hours per week - 2 hours on 2 weekday evenings & 4 hours at the weekends**

**Rate of pay: £10.20 per hour**

**Skills, qualifications, and experience**

**Essential**:

- driving licence
- car and appropriate insurance
- confidentiality
- good at building relationships
- likes dogs

**Preferred**:

- good communicator
- a good listener

**Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.**

**This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.20 per hour
