Credit Controller

**IN2Consult / Credit Controller / 6-Month contract / Heathrow / Hybrid working / £18 - £22 per hour depending on experience**

**Objective**:
Cash collection & achieving targets, reconciliation, query resolution, reporting, refunds and reducing DSO and Bad Debt.

**Duties**:

- Collecting fees for all companies under the group using various collection methods.
- Following the set process that has been agreed upon by the Head of Billing & Collections & Managing Director.
- Assist with the workload towards monthly group and individual cash targets.
- Ability to complete tasks in multiple currencies collecting debt in various countries.
- Working with aged debtors, resolving queries.
- Working in tandem with Adjusters, Insurers and Brokers.
- Maintain and send monthly statements & BDX, uploading invoices onto portals including Legal X.
- Respond to client queries and requests for help and information within a specific timeframe.
- Proactively seek assistance from adjustors to resolve any outstanding issues.
- Process the company fees and reserves into Class and ECF
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports to identify clients for collection.
- Issuing Refunds in a timely fashion and ensuring that they are processed.
- Keeping seniors up-to-date with your progress, queries, or changes to Client processes.
- Maintaining systems/master data with comments and changes to Client information.
- Completing reports for various areas of the business Daily, weekly & monthly.
- Assist with further duties when the Credit Control Manager is not available.

**Requirements**:

- At least 4 years experience in Credit Control, working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Able to follow existing processes but also able to “think outside the box” to resolve queries and/or chase clients.
- Excellent work ethic and proactive attitude.
- IT literate with advanced Word and Excel skills, able to produce Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
- Experience with various accounting systems: SAP, Oracle. And internal data management systems.
- Ability to resolve queries and the ability to use all systems available to aid in the completion of tasks.
