**What you’ll be doing**

We’re looking for an Employee Relations (ER) Consultant to join our expanding ER team. Reporting to our ER Manager, this role will specifically support our clients with complex ER casework.
- Competently and efficiently advising and investigating complex ER cases (e.g., grievance, disciplinary, whistleblowing, settlement agreements, bullying and harassment), ensuring our clients achieve the best possible outcome.
- Supporting the ER Manager in tracking live ER cases in our ServOps system, ensuring they progress efficiently and within budget to meet our client’s expectations.
- Drafting ER documentation of mixed complexity in response to various ER activities, including invite letters, scripts, outcome letters and detailed reports.
- Providing expert support to generalist HR Consultants with their ER cases by providing advice and peer-reviewing documentation, including letters and scripts, to ensure they are accurate and of exceptional quality.
- Supporting the ER Manager in building and maintaining internal ER resources.
- Keep up to date with employment law legislation and tribunal case studies.

**About you**

**Essential**
- A level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in undertaking complex ER investigations.
- Significant experience in supporting and advising managers in ER and complex casework.
- Experience of advising on and negotiating settlement agreements.
- The ability to identify the risks associated with taking different courses of action while knowing when to seek appropriate advice.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with experience in drafting detailed reports and outcome letters which are well structured and effectively pull together a broad set of data to convey robust arguments.
- Strong consulting, communication and influencing skills, including confidence in managing key stakeholders.
- Experience using various IT, digital and online systems and tools.
- A full clean UK driving licence and willing to travel when required.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

**Desirable**
- Experience working within an HR Consultancy or client services environment.
- CIPD level 7 or equivalent
