- **We are looking for a Mobile Fitter / Mechanic to join the team from our branch in Dartford**_, which services the London and surrounding regions. This role will be responsible for carrying out diesel engine and pump maintenance on customers sites and in the branch workshop.

Due to the nature of our branch operations this role will involve being part of a call out rota, which has a standby allowance plus excellent overtime payment.

**Suitability Criteria**:

- As part of a small team there is a focus on personality
- You will either hold a NVQ Level 3 or at least be happy to train towards an NVQ qualification.
- Full driving license.
- Willingness to grow with the role and open to complete further appropriate training

**About The Role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Working safely is priority and a knowledge of PPE requirements is critical.
- To communicate accurately with work colleagues and customers alike.
- Be able to obtain signatures and names from sites to ensure the smooth processing of tasks.
- Good standards of housekeeping.
- Complete daily vehicle defect reports.
- Carry out all given tasks as set out by given instructions or as per relevant training.
- Show understanding of company policies and procedures.
- se applicable to be detailed by your immediate supervisor.

**Restrictions**:
**This role requires a level of fitness as you will be operating vehicles, Selwood and customer’s, machines without impaired vision or hearing and must comply with statutory medical standards. If you need a hearing device or wear glasses they will be required to be worn at all times for Health and Safety.**
