Our prestigious client, a leading organization committed to maintaining the highest standards in health, safety, and environmental practices, has entrusted us with the search for a qualified Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join their dynamic team.

We are excited to present a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a crucial role as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor. In this position, you will play an instrumental role in implementing and overseeing HS&E Management Systems, ensuring compliance with statutory, ISO, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental practices throughout the organization.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HS&E Management Systems.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees, facilitating compliance with HS&E protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor adherence to safety and environmental procedures.
- Monitor and report on HS&E performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the training coordinator/HR department on HS&E training initiatives.
- Conduct inductions for new employees and assist in identifying ongoing training needs.
- Perform risk assessments, including manual handling, COSHH, PUWER, and DSE.
- Oversee the establishment and regular review of fire, DSEAR, and legionella risk assessments.
- Investigate injuries, incidents, near misses, and hazards, implementing corrective actions.
- Chair and facilitate site HS&E meetings.

To be successful as the next HSE Advisor you’ll have the following skills and experience;
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- A minimum of three years' experience in health, safety, and environmental roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Preferably experience in working with or implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Experience in delivering training initiatives.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
