**Job description**- The principal aim of the post is to: 1) undertake a NICHS funded project assessing the impact of fewer childhood respiratory infections (as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic) on development of childhood asthma; and 2) support a broad range of research projects within the UK Severe Asthma Registry.- Obtained or are about to obtain a relevant PhD in epidemiology, applied mathematics/statistics or related discipline
- At least 3 years’ recent research experience and skills relevant to this project e.g. database management, statistical analysis, working with large epidemiological datasets
- Experience of using statistical packages such as STATA
- Contribution to authorship of articles in international scientific peer reviewed journals, commensurate with stage of career.- At Queen’s our people are at the heart of everything we do.
