**Job Title: Customer Service Representative** ** ** ** **

**Overall Job Purpose**:
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Advisor. This role involves handling incoming inquiries and orders, as well as managing day-to-day office tasks and making outgoing calls to an existing customer base.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Handling incoming customer inquiries, orders, and requests efficiently.
- Making outgoing calls to existing customers to take orders and promote new products/services.
- Resolving customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database/system.
- Providing support to external sales representatives by managing customer accounts and updating price lists.
- Assisting in marketing activities, such as preparing promotional materials or participating in campaigns.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

**Person Specification**
- Proficiency in computer literacy and keyboard skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy in handling orders and inquiries.
- Ability to work independently, organize tasks, and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
- Negotiation skills.

**Qualifications and Certification**
- In the absence of formal qualifications previous experience will be considered
