This role reports to the Director of Cyber & IT Risk for British Airways and you will be accountable for maintaining BA’s cyber defence capabilities across our varied and complex technical landscape. Taking responsibility for defining BA’s cyber defence requirements, shaping the roadmap for development, and working with internal and external functions to deliver against our cyber strategy and mitigate our risk areas. You will work closely with multiple partners across British Airways, IAG Tech and various suppliers who provide some of our cyber tooling and products.

You will lead a team of five Cyber Product Owners responsible for BA’s cyber tooling; managing multiple cyber products and tools ensuring suitability, effectiveness and benefit is being achieved. You will determine BA’s enterprise cyber defence roadmap, identify relevant
products and create BA’s cyber defence strategy. You will be providing technical cyber leadership and decision making across various
technical domains and need to have the expertise to drive forward solutions, ensuring alignment with the cyber strategic vision and goals.

You will need to provide assurance to the Director of Cyber & IT Risk through as-is reporting, identifying high risk areas and engaging the various teams to implement tactical risk mitigation strategies. You will define and drive working relationships with external suppliers to ensure effective supplier management, actively manage vendors, evaluate performance metrics, set operation models, and establish
development needs.

You will need deep technical expertise in cyber defence domains (networking, identity, cryptography, monitoring, EDR etc).
