Rose Red Care offer two types of night shifts, one being a “sleep-in” and the other being a “wake-in-watch”. The “sleep-in” service is where you attend a client’s house and you are allowed to sleep during the night but, maybe required to assist the client on occasion. The “wake-in-watch” shift is where you stay awake and monitor the client throughout the night. As a Night Healthcare Assistant, you are responsible for ensuring the client you are caring for is safe and that their needs are attended too. You will be required to undertake certain tasks such as companionship, meal preparation; through to more specialist tasks such as assisting with personal care, medication administration and end of life care.

We want you to be as successful as possible throughout your career here at Red Rose Care, and we will work in partnership with you to ensure this happens. Through fantastic induction and ongoing training, shadowing shifts, regular one to ones, and building personal development plans based on your goals. Whether you have care experience or not, we will give you all the training and support that you need to succeed. You just need to have a positive attitude and a willingness to make a difference

**Shift patterns**:
Our night shifts are usually 10pm-7am, however this can vary depending on our client wants and needs.
